1초에 29프레임을 사용하는 한 편의 영화에서 대략 한 시간 반의 런닝타임을 계산해 보았을 때, 영화 한 편에는 총 156,600프레임 이상의 이미지가 사용된다.
작품 <1 Frame>은 한 편의 영화에 사용된 모든 프레임을 추출하고 합하여 1프레임 영상으로 완성한 것이다. 관객은 결과물로서 하나의 이미지만을 보게 되지만 또한 그 안에서 한 편의 영화 모두를 보게 된다.
우리는 우리의 ‘삶’을 한 편의 영화로 비유하곤 한다. 나는 작업을 통해 영화가 가진 이 상징성을 모티브로 찰나와 같은 우리의 삶, 그 순간을 하나의 이미지로 기록하여 보여주고자 한다.

When using 29 frames a second, this piece uses 156,600 frames in total with a running time of around one and a half hours. For this work, I added all frames used in the film and reduced them into one frame. As a result, the viewer sees only one image, which is actually a film. I often compare our lives to a film. In this work, I used this symbolic meaning of film as a theme. And presuming that our lives are an instant in time, I tried to record and show the instant with an image
